Southside Senior & Community Center (a non-profit organization) is conveniently located on the beautiful South Hill with easy access to the freeway. The center is just a short distance from the I-90 freeway, on the corner of Twenty Seventh and Ray, next to Thornton Murphy Park. Our center offers classes, activities and events to be enjoyed by all guests. Some of these activities include a variety of dancing programs, Zumba, body conditioning, yoga, Tai Chi, various cards games, computer and education classes and the list goes on. We also have a travel department which has adventures in and around Spokane, interstate and overseas. This beautiful and elegant full service facility offers rental spaces as a perfect setting for receptions, corporate and fund raising events, workshops, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, meetings, reunions and parties of all kinds. The community center can accommodate groups from 10 to 500 for any type of event. The rental facility includes seating for up to 300, rooms for business meetings, wireless internet access, catering on site, ample parking and more. We have a full commercial kitchen, you can bring in your own caterer or use for your potluck events. Our beautiful Ballroom with a center floating dance floor will comfortably accommodate up to 300 guests seated and 500 hundred guests theater style. You don't need to be a member to enjoy our facility, although members enjoy discounts to our activities, lunches and our travel department adventures. In addition, the $35 annual membership fee gives you %15 discount on your rental costs after you have been a member for 9 months. Our facility is wheelchair accessible, has an outdoor patio, sound system, Baby Grand piano and 2 x 8 ft lighted arches that is included in our rental costs. We can also advertise your event on our reader board. Drop by or call for an appointment and we can show you around our facility.
