You can have the wedding indoors or outdoors. You can have food catered in or use their service. There are plenty of places to take pictures. The outdoors has a lot of good nature spots. |
| 5/11/2012 | | "Beautiful Reception and Great Pictures", An Eventective User from Bonney Lake, WA | | I held my wedding reception at The Golf Club at Newcastle in December. I was so happy with my decision to have my reception here. We had great service, the food was delicious and the grounds were beautiful for pictures. The room where my wedding luncheon was held was beautifully decorated, my family did not have to do anything, the florist was even able to deliver the center places straight to the venue. The table cloths were beautiful and elegant as were the place settings. We had a choice of many different dishes for our wedding menu. We chose 3 different dishes that the guests could chose from and they were all delicious. When it came time to take pictures, the grounds were perfect. There is a hill that you can stand on and get a great view of the Seattle skyline behind you. There were also beautiful Christmas lights that we could take pictures next to. I was so happy with my reception, I would recommend this venue to anyone! |
| 8/15/2011 | | "An Absolutely Stunning and Beautiful Venue", An Eventective User from Edmonds, Washington | | My parents got married at a golf club and they heavily recommended one for me, so when I got married, it was at the top of the list of places to look at as far as venues. The Golf Club at Newcastle, though pricey, quickly stuck out and recurred as the best place to go and so I ended up going there and looking at the place, and, finally, settling on it. Though a bit on the expensive side, it was, without a doubt, the best possible place for me to have my wedding. The grounds are absolutely stunning and the size of the place leaves nothing to be desired; it was more than spacious enough to accommodate all of my guests. On top of that, the catering service was excellent and provided quality food, though there was quite a bit of surplus at the end of the wedding. The place is absolutely gorgeous and I can't imagine getting married anywhere else. The view is stunning and the ceremony itself was well-looked after. The one slight issue that I would warn people about is the weather; with Washington weather, you never know what you're going to get, so it's something of a gamble. Though the weather turned out well for me, and it is possible to get married inside, the full, breathtaking splendor of the place would be inhibited by a rainy day so this is certainly something to keep in mind. Otherwise, this place has my wholehearted recommendation. |
