Palisades Archdiocesan Retreat & Faith Formation Center

Unique among the retreat and conference centers in Western Washington for its beauty, history and ministry, the Palisades is a place of personal and spiritual growth within the Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle. Catholic Parishes and Schools as well as community and nonprofit organizations of the Pacific Northwest find here a place that celebrates our history and a sign of faith in the future. A future that is filled with hope and promise. Retreat Center: Housing at The Palisades is in single rooms (our 55 rooms have a full or queen bed in each). In 2006 the retreat house celebrated, 50 years of service in the Archdiocese of Seattle, following a full renovation with larger rooms, improved bathrooms in each guest room and all new furnishings throughout. For groups that request them, we also have 17 roll-away beds for use of those groups requiring two beds in a room and seven of our rooms have a hide-a-beds. What to bring: Each room is simply furnished, and comes with bedding, sheets, towels & soap. You will need to bring your own shampoo & other toiletries, comfortable clothes, a notebook & pen and anything else that will help you to feel comfortable and at home at the Retreat Center. Our guest rooms do not have telephones or TV's. There is phone available at the registration desk by the front door. Meals: Our generous meals are served buffet style in our dining room overlooking Puget Sound. Special dietary requirements can be met if you make your needs known to our kitchen staff.
