 11/7/2008 | | "Great for meetings", lllewellyn from Bellevue, Washington | | The Lewis Creek Visitor Center is a great place to sit and relax, read a book from their natural library, watch a movie, or participate in one of the Lewis Creek Family Discovery Series Programs. The park has a playground, picnic tables, a basketball court, two baseball/soccer fields (room for a kite!), and many people walk their dogs along the trails. The Visitor Center also has a greenroof, low-flush toilets and an environmental education theme. The Lewis Creek Park has almost 3 miles of trails, through wetland (boardwalk), meadow and forest, with connections to greenways which lead to other parks such as Lakemont and Cougar Mountain. The venue is limited in seating, however, as the facility also functions as a Visitor Center. Great views, plenty to do outside, great place to have a small party. |
