Description
Thomas of Raspberry Plain was a Burgess in the virinia Assembly & one of the first trustees of leesbury. In 1771 he built a mansion house at Raspberry Plain where he raised his fur children. The history ot Raspberry Plain dates back to the colonial era when george mason III died, leaving no will. His holding went to his eldest son,George Mason of Guston Hall, author of the Bill of Rights.
