Once the home of Fairview Farm, this two-story timber house stands in front of the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club main club house. Built in the late 1700's for Englishman Samuel Shackelford, whose father moved to the Shenandoah Valley from Tidewater around 1777, it has been beautifully restored by local craftsmen and has been named to the Virginia Landmarks Register of Historic Places. The House is tastefully furnished with exquisite period reproduction furniture manufactured by the Henkel-Harris Company in Winchester, Virginia.
