P.J. Barbour Photography, Arlington — I photographed my first wedding in 1998. Since then, I have grown to love Saturdays. My Dad had a nice Canon SLR that he let me play with when I was in high school. I always was more right-brained. I love creating images that stir the emotions of the viewer. My best friends and I used to produce funny movies back in the early 1990s. I was almost always the shooter, editor, director, etc. Creating a story using images is my passion! I'm inspired by the work of Denis Reggie and Bambi Cantrell, both of whom specialize in wedding photojournalism. And I'm not ashamed to admit it, I wear my heart on my sleeve. One of the best things about being a wedding photographer is being a witness to one of the most important days of a couple's life. I just got the chills while writing that.
