Located on the banks of the Potomac River and surrounded by woods and gardens, the Collingwood Library and Museum on Americanism is a perfect setting for your next business event. The brand new American Legacy Center seats 208 guests in rounds and 240 in classroom style and is the perfect size for a conference or retreat. Complete with state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment and food service, it is a great place for an off-site event, company party or staff meeting. The main building and grounds, which were once part of George Washington’s River Farm, are available for weddings, receptions and other private functions. An outside reception area can accommodate 200 people; inside capacity is 100 standing or 60 seated. The historic library contains more than 5,000 volumes on American heritage, while the museum houses an eclectic display of Americana.
