The Collingwood Library and Museum Estate was originally part of George Washington’s River Farm. The Mansion is built on nine acres on the Potomac, and is accompanied by our newest building, The American Legacy Center, built in 2008 for fundraisers, larger indoor wedding receptions, corporate events and family reunions. Collingwood’s Mansion houses a research Library and Museum which will accommodate up to 120 guests for an intimate ceremony or private corporate meeting with access to a 40x60 patio for staging a tent or alfresco entertaining. The Mansion area showcases a breathtaking Potomac River view, offering ease of access to the patio for outdoor festivities or a ceremony on the water! Please, don’t hesitate to call or email with any questions you may have, or if you would like a walk-through of the property!
