 12/14/2007 | | "Beautiful Service", leejohnson2007 from Springfield, Virginia | First of all, we left voice messages at the offices of the lawyers recommended by the Alexandria Courthouse, and none of them ever returned our calls. We then spoke to some friends who had bad experiences with them as well. In most cases, their calls were never returned. In one case, they spoke to the lawyer and he told them they would have to wait two weeks for an appointment, and that they could not bring any guests. The lawyer rushed through the ceremony and would not let them exchange rings because he said it took too long. After hearing of all these experiences, I contacted several other couples who had small weddings, and they told us of a group of ministers-Alexandria Civil Ceremony Officiants, who perform real wedding ceremonies, offer a choice of ceremonies, as well as ceremony music, and they perform all ceremonies in beautiful locations in the city, and also at couples' homes: not in courthouses or offices! Don't even consider contacting the incompetent and unreliable lawyers appointed by the Alexandria Courthouse! Call the Ministers Today!
