The Montshire Museum of Science is located off exit 13, I-91 in Norwich, VT five miles north of White River Junction, VT. The Museum is directly across the Connecticut River from Hanover, NH home of Dartmouth College. Museum offers dozens of exciting exhibits relating to the natural and physical sciences, ecology, and technology and the Museums' outdoor environment is a large part of the visitor experience. Also outside is a network of easy-to-moderate walking trails for visitors of all ages and fitness levels. The Montshire Museum is the perfect venue for your special event. The Museum has a list of approved caterers that can handle everything from gourmet snacks to elegant sit-down dinners. Hold your anniversary celebration or a festive dinner in our Community Room, followed by a leisurely walk outside on our trails. Invite guests to your wedding reception in our Science Park, with the lovely Connecticut River Valley as a backdrop.
