I recently had the good fortune to see my God-Daughter get married. When she announced her engagement, she asked me to design her bouquet. The reason she asked me was because I had previously worked in the plant/flower industry. I called several florists and got an estimate of what the prices were for a bouquet which included lillies. And, her colors were coral and white.I also had to take into consideration that the particular flowers she wanted had to be shipped to the desert. We're 130 miles north-east of Las Vegas. I also shopped on-line for ideas. Not to purchase, but just to get an idea of designs. I printed several which I was sure would meet with her approval. I selected Desert Floral because as I was describing what I wanted, the woman who answered, Nyla, seemed to read my mind. So,off we went to the florist to give her a detailed description of our vision and to see if she could design it. Also, to get a quote and more ideas. We also wanted to include babys breath and stephanotis, which is an extremely fragrant flower. By the time we were done,Nyla had completely floored us . She came up with a 24 inch trailing bouquet which included the above mentioned flowers and some very tiny wisps of maiden hair fern. Nyla not only was able to understand what we wanted, but she also was able to bring it to life. On the day before the wedding, she called us to say it was ready for pick up. She had wrapped it and placed it in a cooler with blue ice for us to transport another 100 miles to where the wedding was to take place. She packed it so well, we didn't need to place it in the fridge at the church. From beginning to end Nyla was professional,friendly and ever so efficient. She took the worry off our shoulgers. She even threw in a boutineer for the groom.
