can't say enough awesome things about Rita and Sledge and Corner Wedding Chapel. This is DFW's best kept secret for weddings. I went to the website, and looked at the brochure. I was WOW-ed by the prices I saw. I made an appointment, not expecting too much, since the prices were so unbelievably reasonable. We drove up to find a small white building that looked more like a house than a chapel. I wasn't blown away by the front outside area, or the inside, to be honest. When I saw the back outdoor area, where the ceremony and reception would take place, I was blown away. Gorgeous gazebo, climbing flowers and ivy. We made our reservation based solely on this. They do it ALL here: location, food, cake, flowers, decor. EVERYTHING. I admit that I still wasn't expecting much in those departments. For so cheap, how good could it really be? But still...the price was right, and it would be fine. When the day came, my flowers were beyond fine, beyond perfect, the cake was beautiful, the food was delish, and the place, ALL of it, was beautiful. In the dark, with the twinkle lights, everything that looked ho-hum in the daylight was suddenly stunning. I wouldn't choose this place for a super elegant, black tie affair. But, if you are planning a less formal event for less than 100, don't waste your money anywhere else. You'll get the most for your money right here.
