My husband and I were married a few months ago, and we both agreed that we wanted beautiful flowers in the church, but we did not want to blow our budget over it. I had no idea where to start, and my wedding coordinator mentioned that our church uses Killion's Milam Florists every Sunday. These arrangements wow me every Sunday, so I eagerly gave them a call. I am so glad that we did! I would recommend calling Killion's as soon as you can before your wedding, but I will admit I didn't get my act together until a month before our wedding (when it came to flowers for the church). They handled my order beautifully and without judgement at my relatively late order. I ordered the alter flowers and pew flowers from Killion's. When I first met with the ladies at Killion's, they told me they basically needed to know three things: 1) The date of the wedding, 2) our budget and 3) the color scheme I intended to have. I gave them my date, and they were just fine with that. They made me feel much better by telling me that my timing was fine. I told them we needed to be budget-conscience but did not want ""filler"" flowers, and I was amazed at what they could do! They use some ""pricey"" flowers in the forefront and use other flowers to create bulk and make the arrangements substantial. I like peonies and hydrangeas, and they were able to use these so that they were the most visible in the arrangements. These were very expensive looking pieces that they created! I honestly do not know how they managed to create these pieces for the minimal price. I highly recommend this highly professional florist. They don't gouge, they are punctual, they communicate clearly, and they are amazingly sweet to stressed-out brides!
