The Lone Star Flight Museum houses over 40 historically significant aircraft and boasts over 50 inductees of the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame. Many of the Museum's aircraft have been restored to flying conditions. The Museum is home to such aircraft as the P-47 Thunderbolt, Corsair, Hellcat, SBD, B-17 Flying Fortress and the B-25 Mitchell. The B-25 has recently been painted at the first flying tribute the the Doolittle Raiders. The Museum has recently started a flight experience program for the B-17 and B-25 where patrons can take a ride in one of these fantastic aircraft.
