 10/5/2011 | | "", An Eventective User from Elmendor, Texas | Lakeside Lodge and banquet hall offers seating for 300 with a full professional kitchen. Meals can sometimes be catered or prepared on-site using the large ovens, grills, ice tea makers and coffee makers as well as the availability of a large ice maker. There's a white fenced and landscaped back yard which contains a gazebo located on a 5 acre lake. Many guests use this gazebo for their actual wedding. The lodge is fairly new with very clean restrooms and a full service bar and bar tender if you choose. There is a private Chamber room for the bride and her party to dress and prepare for the special event.
There is a large parking lot for the lodge and access in and out is very easy. The staff at the attached resort are very friendly and attentive to the needs of the wedding party and the guests. The resort staff stay on-hand during the entire event and see to the needs of the party. Located next to the lodge is a Day's Inn motel which is very conveinient for out of town guests.
