A beautiful Victorian house just 12 blocks from the beach and 1 mile from the Strand is the perfect place for your group to have a fun filled weekend away. No Cooking, No Husbands and No Kids - Just fun with the girls. Our all-inclusive retreats give you plenty of time and space to spread out all those scrapbook supplies so you can get lots of scrapbooks finished. The scrapbooking and crafting environment is welcoming and comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. Each scrapbooker gets their own 4 feet or 5 feet work table, so there are no table-sharing bumps. The lighting is excellent and the mid-back chairs are comfy and adjustable, so you can sit as long as you want without feeling stiff. They can cater to small groups of up to 12 women.

"Dream Wedding Reception", An Eventective User from Deer Park, Texas

Our youngest daughter's dream wedding reception was held at
The Battleground. Our guests were completely blown away. They all said it was the most beautiful and elegant event they had attended. The view, the food, the set up, the staff, EVERYTHING was perfect. So perfect that the pictures you will see on their home page are those from our wedding! Believe me when I say, it is the absolute best value for the money on this side of town. Do NOT miss the opportunity to give your daughter and your guests a dream come true!
