Great hotel with amazing conference center space - An Eventective User from New Castle, DE

About 3 years ago I was down in Texas for the Business Professionals of America National Conference. The main festivities and a lot of the events were held in the International Conference and Exposition Center in Dallas. The main ballroom is very nice, more than the appropriate size for a large scale speaker or presentation, and on the upper floors of the Conference Center, there are several smaller rooms, good for smaller presentations or workshops. Convenient for travelers who are visiting, the Sheraton Hotel in Dallas is connected to the Conference Center via a walkway on the second floor. The Sheraton features nice, luxurious rooms, a top floor high-class eatery, a full gym, and an indoor and outdoor pool. The Sheraton is also conveniently located near the Dallas metro, a trolley/transportation service that can take you to any of Dallas' attractions. Overall, the International Conference and Exposition Center is a great choice for anyone looking to host a conference or event, with perfect location and great proximity to a high class hotel.

A Gorgeous Venue for a Wedding - An Eventective User from Chicago, IL

I'm from Chicago and my boyfriend and I traveled to Dallas for a wedding. One of his college football buddies was getting married. I was less than thrilled to attend a wedding that was in a hotel based on previous experience. This Sheraton knocked my socks off. After cocktail hour, we walked in to a gorgeous ball room. The lighting was incredible and really set the mood. They had huge centerpieces that spotlights were shining right one. They also had colored lights shining up the walls and on the dance floor. It was soft and beautiful. The view of the city from our room was breathtaking. The city lights sparkled and awed all of the guest. With such high ceilings, there was an air to the room even though there was probably close to 200 guests. The food was very consistent. I had salmon and it was cooked perfectly. That is saying a lot for a wedding! We chose to stay in the hotel for the weekend and were both very happy with that decision. The rooms were large and the beds were comfy! We both had plenty of space in the closet and in the bathroom. Any staff that we passed always had a smile and said hello. Maybe it was the southern manners ;) All in all, I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants the perfect setting for their perfect day!

Very Accomodating and a Great Location - An Eventective User from Carrollton, Texas

In the heart of downtown Dallas, the Sheraton Dallas Hotel is a prime location for a conference or meeting. It is steps away from the Dallas Area Rapid Transit light rail stop which makes it an easy in and out if you don't want to drive a car downtown. The location is near some of Dallas' very trendy and touristy areas as well. So, the attendees at the conference were able to enjoy all the best that Dallas has to offer in the evening. The Sheraton is very clean and upscale in its appearance which will make any host proud to have guests attend their meeting our conference. The bathrooms were always spotless and the staff was friendly. The meeting facilities inside the Sheraton are many and quite accommodating. A light breakfast and lunch was served each day at the conference I attended. The food was very good! The accommodations for meetings were perfect. We were able to have multiple presentations going on at the same time in various rooms. We also had plenty of space for the daily keynote address which was attended by well over 500 people. The rooms were all within one ""pod"" which allowed everyone to mingle together in between presentations. So, in summary, I would highly recommend attending or hosting a meeting or conference at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel. It meets the needs of both the host and the attendees. I am hopeful I am able to attend another event there at some point in the future.
