When you come inside it is so breathtaking with all the beauty. They have special promotions sent out every week to their registered members only. They have a special going on right now for if you register for the fabulous promotion rates and a chance for you to win a seven night vacation for two people to have a wonderful enjoying the serene tranquility and pleasures offered at the hotel. Airfare is included in this free trip to a paradise like getaway. Also, if they know your birthday they will surprise you on that special day. Whether you schedule a conference, meeting or seminar The Magnolia will leave you with memories that are unforgettable.
They have many conference rooms available and the Pegasus ballroom which holds up to 225 people. There are beautiful 18-foot cathedral ceilings with gorgeous chandeliers and art decorated mirrors hanging on the wall as well as the sumptuous draperies. The hotel does offer a complete package deal starting at $65.00 per person. This includes food and beverages for the entire day starting with a continental breakfast, followed by a mid-morning break, then a lunch buffet, next an afternoon break and finally a buffet dinner. All of this can be served in the meeting room or in an area close to the meeting room.
This is a spectacular hotel with outstanding service and scrumptious food. When you leave there you will be very pleased and want to return for further meetings there as it is a wonderful place to go. ""Pegasus, The Flying Red Horse†sits on top of this 29 story building. It was the first high rise building in the United States to have air condition back in the 1920's and the cities first sky scraper building. |
| 2/13/2012 | | "The Magnolia; Class, Style and Sophistication", An Eventective User from Fredericksburg, Virginia | | A couple of years ago I went to a convention in Dallas and stayed at the Magnolia. The hotel itself is easily spotted by a red Pegasus that is on top of the building which is usually lit up red at night. The lobby of the hotel also sports a red Pegasus too which I always thought was pretty cool. When you enter the building you are greeted by a large spacious lobby and a grand staircase. The upstairs area that led you to the rooms if I remember correctly had a bar and lounge. I was in awe by all the features of this hotel, there are a lot of hotels in the area but I think the Magnolia is by far the best. The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are nicely maintained and the staff was very pleasant. I was so pleased to have had stayed there. The hotel flaunts this quirky yet sophisticated style that trumps the other area hotels. It's really one of a kind. The Magnolia is located close to everything and is easily accessible from the public transportation that the city offers. The best two words that I can use to describe the Magnolia are, stylish and luxurious. The Magnolia would be ideal for a wedding. I'm currently engaged and I'm getting married in the fall, if I lived in Dallas it would be my first choice. The Magnolia seems to be pretty reasonably priced and exudes class and style. Not to mention, if you stay there you get a free breakfast and at night they offer free cookies and milk. |
