Two months ago in February of 2012 I went to Dallas with my boss for some meetings about a case that his office is working on. The meetings were held at the Hotel Palomar. We stayed at the hotel for two nights and the meetings there were held there all day for both days. I was dreading this business trip until we arrived at the hotel. It was first class all the way. The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were spacious and had a lot of great stuff like Wi-Fi and room service. The staff was wonderful, they met all of my needs and were always happy to help me out and answer questions. The place was really clean and was decorated wonderful as well. The meeting facilities were great as well. They were large, had comfortable chairs, had a staff that brought us stuff like water bottles and food at lunch time. A lot of meeting rooms are dark and you don't get to see the outside. That was not the case with the Palomar meeting rooms. There were large windows with great views of the city. The cost of the rooms was comparable to other meeting rooms in the area so that was nice as well. The hotel even has a twenty-four hour business center with lap top stations and printers as well as multi media and audio visual equipment that we were able to easily use for a few things. Because we were using the meeting room we also got a great discount on the hotel rooms. I would recommend this meeting space to anyone in the Dallas area that has a large or small group meeting need.

My husband and I were very happy with our wedding at the Hotel Palomar. Our experience was great from the very first meeting. The staff was helpful and polite and the venue was absolutely beautiful. They have wedding packages that were within our price range. Although it seemed pricy, the food was worth the price. I would recommend the Hotel Palomar to anyone getting married!

I would definitely recommend the Hotel Palomar. The staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They had everything already set up for us when we arrived. The table was set beautifully with wood massagers and stress balls. They provided facilities for yoga classes on our breaks. There was aromatherapy throughout the room. Whole-grain cereal, fruit, and water was provided for us. It was an amazing experience and I would return to the Hotel Palomar for my next meeting in Dallas.

I gravitate toward Kimpton Hotels when i travel. THe intimacy of the size and happy hour are usually a nice touch which makes for very good service and some quirkiness of decor. This was no exception. The modern interiors were very fresh and clean. I stayed here after a trip to Argentina and was in need of the familiar and I was especially missing my pets at home in Arizona after seeing about a half dozen dogs and their owners staying in the hotel. I mentioned this to the check in individual and she offered to have a goldfish in his bowl sent to my room to keep me company!! It was a nice homey touch. The location is near SMU and there is shopping nearby. I met and talked with a very nice clientele for happy hr and the hotel was bustlng. A stay all in all that was very pleasant and depressurizing for me on my way home.

My organization recently held a benefactor dinner/event in the upper ballroom at the Palomar. Aside from a wonderful dinner set up, the hotel staff made sure to properly set up all of our audio equipment for the speeches that were to be given that night. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and the hotel provided a wonderful bar outside of the ballroom, so patrons could mingle and grab drinks while the staff prepared the main ballroom.

As a study coordinator, I have the opportunity to tour the United States for meetings and conferences that are sponsored by pharmaceutical companies. Lucky for me, these companies are very powerful and prestigious so the conferences tend to be in very nice venues. I went to Hotel Palomar last Spring in Dallas and it was quite a memorable event. The hotel is very classy and trendy. The style is chic and this is present throughout the hotel including not only the hotel rooms, but also the meeting rooms. The rooms are decorated with soothing, yet bright colors that grab your attention and make for a peaceful environment. There are about ten meeting rooms. The grand ballroom can be opened for a larger event, or separated to make three smaller rooms, I believe. All rooms are adequately equipped with advanced technology that is required for most meetings. The catering at the hotel was one of my favorites. The food was spectacular. As a vegetarian, I am always concerned about what my options may be, but they did a great job satisfying people with diverse diets. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful. The hotel is large and they were stationed around the meeting rooms to direct us to the appropriate rooms. There were also signs with arrows to direct us appropriately. We had a great experience at this venue and I also thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the rooms. They were spacious, had comfortable beds, and were very clean. I strongly recommend this venue for a conference of many sizes. I think this venue might even be appropriate for more formal occasions like weddings or cocktail parties.
