The Walsmiths fell in love with the Hill Country while at their family reunion. They had always dreamed of having a place for families to come and enjoy each other, meet new friends, make special memories, and to get away from the daily grind. While shopping in the area, Kay picked up magazines and information everywhere she went. One day after they returned home, they were going through the pile she had collected and a real estate magazine opened up to a page about the Silver Spur like it was meant to be. The rest is history.
