Description
Hannah Day is a born and bred Texas photographer living in the Austin area. At 8 years old, she bought her first camera at a local garage sale and the “arty” bug bit her!
After taking an “Intro to Photography” class at The University of Texas, she was ready to make photography her career path. She completed the ACC program in 2003, earning an Associate’s in Photography. Hannah then transferred to The School of the Art Institute in Chicago in June 2004. SAIC catapulted her into new ways of viewing her work and challenged her with new methods of creating. She graduated in May 2005 from SAIC with a BFA in Photography.
Shortly after finishing school, Hannah worked as a photographer at a cutting edge children’s portrait studio, in Chicago. Hannah and her husband moved back to Austin in May 2007, where she is now promoting her free-lance work and is looking forward to her future back in Austin and the prospect of forming new relationships with eager and willing clients!
