 10/4/2011 | | "Fun Expedition - Awesome Party Spot", An Eventective User from Johnson City, TN | Fun Expedition is an awesome spot to have a birthday party or any other gathering. They have tons of games and fun activities like mini golf, indoor and outdoor go karts, batting cages, jungle gym, mini bowling, and a climbing wall. Not to mention arcade games and my favorite, laser tag.
There are several large private rooms for parties. Party packages are pretty expensive, but include game time for everyone. Pizza is also included and cake and drinks. The birthday child (or adult) gets a free t-shirt also.
They also have a pizza buffet that is very reasonable and decent quality. Prices for the games and attractions are pretty much the average rates. There are time cards for the arcade and you pay a flat rate per attraction you do. They offer discounts regularly.
Fun Expedition is great for adults who like to play. It's great for older kids and teens as well. There is plenty to do and no one will get bored. There are prizes that you can get with the tickets on the arcade games.
Younger kids will have less to do to keep them occupied. Most of the arcade games are a bit too difficult for them. So are most of the attractions. The jungle gym soft area is about the only thing for little kids to do.
Overall, the value is pretty good for parties. Just don't expect a lot of food unless you order extra or just go for the buffet. It is definitely fun and the price is pretty reasonable for the type of venue. |
