 10/4/2011 | | "Hire Chef Dom", An Eventective User from Sioux Falls, SD | | I was impressed with the level of professionalism Chef Dom brought to catering our wedding. He seemed more expensive than other caterers at first, but once I shopped around (which he told me to do) I found that his pricing is more honest up front. They even told me places where I could save money along the way by doing things myself. The food was exquisite and gourmet, but what mattered most to me at my wedding was service. His staff, from first meeting to last call, was top notch. The bartender was a hit with all my guests. Whenever there was a lull, the staff collected glasses, cleared plates, and tidied up. The menu was traditional American with French influences. He can do just about anything. You just have to ask. One more added plus was that he provided vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free meals at no additional charge. He also gave a discount for children. When the night was over, his staff packed up all their gear, including dishes, glasses, and silverware and seemingly disappeared. My wife and I didn't have to do a thing. All of these factors combined made for a great experience. I would hire him again for jobs small and large. |
