About Old Exchange And Provost Dungeon

Thank you for your interest in our facility. The Old Exchange Building is one of our nation's most historic buildings: It is where South Carolina declared independence from Britain in March of 1776, ratified the U.S. Constitution in 1788, and where George Washington celebrated during his 1791 Charleston visit. All evening rentals are from 5pm - 12am every night of the week. Rates are as follows: Sunday night - Friday night $1900 and Saturday night $2500. All rentals include a house manager, two security guards and the entire facility except the Dungeon (does not include tables/chairs). You may hire our colonial dressed docents to greet and administrate brief tours with your guests during the cocktail hour at the start of the event. They are $80 each per hour. (Typically our client's hire one or two for the first hour of the event). You may use any event services for your reception however they must be approved by Old Exchange management. Our facility can accommodate up to 200 people. We do have many dates still available for 2019. Please do not hesitate to contact me for a specific date check and further information. With appreciation,
