The Chatelaine Bed and Breakfast hosts weddings, receptions, anniversaries, parties, meetings and other special events on the grounds of this historic property. There are verdant lawns for tents and a patio, gazebo and deck joining the grounds to the Carriage House. The venue includes a caterers kitchen that meets the needs for catered events. We provide overnight accommodations for up to 10 guests and can host events for up to 200 guests.

The Carriage House may be rented for smaller events and can accommodate up to 50 guests. The rate of $300 includes rental of the Carriage House for 4 hours. Additional hours may be rented at $75 per hour.
Your event may be self-catered if you choose. |
| The minimum time is 4 hours including prepping and clean up time. Added hours are at $75.00/hour. $150.00 is due upon booking the date. No overnight stays are required. We have china, glass and flatware to rent for these smaller affairs at $5.00/person. Or you can self-cater and use plastics unless you use a caterer and a rental service. Taxes are not included in the rate. |

The charming grounds and carriage house at the Chatelaine are the perfect venue for your event. A spacious lawn with centennial evergreens and perennials as old as the 1841 house form a base for celebrations.
The venue can accommodate up to 200 guests.
Rates are $1,000 for events with up to 100 guests. For events with more than 100 guests, rates increase incrementally by $250 for each additional 25 guests or portion of.

| The B&B reservations which are a part of a contract would be the same for all sizes. 2 night stays of 4 rooms for up to 8 guests for $2000.00/2 nights plus taxes. 50% deposit due on signing contract. Rates do not include taxes. Balance due before event date. |

The Chatelaine Bed And Breakfast, Pine Grove Mills — The Chatelaine Bed And Breakfast is a vintage farmhouse on the 1791 homestead purchased by Thomas Ferguson, founder of the village of Pine Grove Mills. Like the story of the village itself, the 1841 house is "…beautifully plain and blessedly simple…" But it is framed and furnished to create a softer ambience "...built layer by layer from the life's work, dreams, and (even) disappointments…of a people making and keeping a place called home."* On your arrival, a welcoming signpost greets you from a border of 90 year-old perennials, proclaiming that you are safely home. Foundation plantings encircling the house with their seasonal blossoms entice a brigade of hummingbirds and clouds of butterflies, and invite you to relax in the dappled shade of centennial evergreens. Winter's blanket of snow will inspire sturdy souls to etch angel silhouettes in a palette of pure white.
