 5/2/2012 | | "Fairmount Park is a great wedding venue", An Eventective User from Philadelphia, PA | | Fairmount Park offers a variety of in- and out-of-door wedding venues, ranging from mansions to gazebos. We had our wedding in the backyard of the Laurel Hill mansion, on a beautiful May day. We were married in the gazebo, under the lush green trees, and we followed with champagne and cake on the back porch, overlooking the river. Our guests still comment to this day on what a gorgeous wedding it was, and our photos are amazing. The price to use the space was eminently reasonable, and it is an excellent fit for a large or small wedding, but particularly for the budget-conscious wedding planners who want a phenomenal space for little cost. The caretakers of the property were very helpful and considerate. We would absolutely have our wedding here again -- there is no other place as beautiful in the Philadelphia metro area. |
