Beautiful Rustic Outdoor Venue - An Eventective User from Lancaster, PA

Sickman's Mill is such a beautiful hidden local gem. It has a natural beauty all its own. The woods and creek at the property are so perfect as a backdrop for the ceremony out in the grass. They have a good sized white tent with sides for the reception, as well as the lower level of the small barn (which we used for cocktail hour). The barn is so cool all on its own it barely needed any decor. The mill is also such a cool place to use for setting up food or drinks for the wedding or for your guests to tour during cocktail hour. They offer a great affordable price for everything that was included. The owners (a husband and wife team) are wonderful to work with!! Not only do they help with week of prep, there are also there for extra help & support on your wedding day. They helped with parking, heaters, and anything else we needed. On my wedding day - it ended up raining during our ceremony and we had to get guests inside. (Definitely not ideal but the tent was still beautiful to finish the ceremony in) They jumped right in where ever they could and helped to make it a wonderful success! My wedding day was a huge success despite the unexpected weather!! And all my guests kept talking about how beautiful and unique the venue was! I would definitely recommend this venue to others looking for an beautiful rustic outdoor venue for your wedding! :)
