This restored mill looks great from the road. Same thing close up. The York, Pa., Daily Record received a tour of this wedding venue and came up with this lineup of photographs showing this impressive place. Stone Mill 1792 is one of several wedding venues opening around York County. But York County isn’t in danger of having too many such venues, a YDR story states. The county, because of its central location, can draw brides-to-be from Baltimore and Philadelphia, as well as locally, a wedding planner told the YDR. Interesting. For centuries, York County’s location has been one of its greatest assets. See an additional photo of the stone mill’s interior – a vaulted room – below. Also of interest: York County has long been in the middle of things. Inside up to 50 guests, outside tented Lawn area up to 175 guests.

Located in the quaint village of Emigsville in South Central Pennsylvania, this skillfully restored 19th century mansion provides the perfect setting for gracious hospitality. The home is resplendent with exquisite leaded and stained glass windows, intricate molding, original parquet floors and elegant marble and tile work. Built in 1850, The Emig Mansion is decorated with antiques and furnishings authentic to the period. It is the ideal location for weddings, receptions, private parties, gatherings, family reunions, seminars, and meetings. Visitors to the Emig Mansion will first come upon the old-fashioned grace of a wrap-around front porch, complete with vintage furniture. The Victorian elegance of the porch overlooks a picturesque vintage pond and is accentuated by more than an acre of beautifully wooded grounds. On the inside, the dining room stretches the entire width of the house with a distinctive rounded glass window in the front and a stained glass masterpiece at the back. The entire room is surrounded by hand-carved Phillipine mahogany. In between the two windows is an incredible table that seats twenty-five people comfortably on red velvet Victorian-style chairs. The Emig Dining Room is the perfect setting for everything from rehearsal dinners to family gatherings to private business meetings, lunches, and dinners.
