The Family Retreat Center is a year round program facility of Family Resources, the largest agency in western Pennsylvania focusing on the prevention and treatment of child abuse. Located just off Freeport Road in Cranberry and Marshall Townships, this 180+ acre facility of fields, wooded trails and a lake, along with a beautiful new conference center and cabins provides recreational, educational and meeting facilities for groups of up to 200 either in a day or overnight format.
The facility offers special opportunities to work on family issues in a natural setting. Community groups come to the Family Retreat Center to rebuild networks of support in their neighborhoods and reconnect family members to one another. Businesses, social and faith-based organizations, schools and other groups use the Retreat Center for retreats, conferences, training programs, picnics, and outings.
