Sweetwater Farm Bed & Breakfast is a tranquil haven just 30 minutes southwest of Philadelphia, situated on 50 acres in the beautiful and historic Brandywine Valley... part of an original land grant from William Penn to the Hemphill family. Nearby, you'll discover the world-famous Longwood Gardens, Winterthur Museum, Brandywine River Museum, Chadds Ford Winery and many more great places to dine, sightsee and shop.Our Manor Home features seven guest rooms; three in the original Quaker Farmhouse of 1734 and four in the more formal 1815 Georgian wing. There are also five cottages, which are pet and child friendly. All rooms and cottages have telephones, private bathrooms, air conditioning and cable TV. All guests enjoy a three course gourmet breakfast served in the Manor House or on the outdoor patio. Each cottage is unique - choices include a converted greenhouse and stone carriage house. luxurious and comfortable accommodations, in-ground pool, heated spa, massage room, fitness center, hiking trails, outdoor dining patio, a large relaxing porch and high speed internet access throughout the main house. Enjoy a game or the sporting atmosphere in our beautifully appointed Billiard Room. Adjacent to the Billiard Room. A gathering place for guests. Cozy, comfortable, warm and inviting... our den is a wonderful spot to read, watch a fire or have a private conversation.
