This rustic camp setting located in the Mt. Hood National Forest, just minutes from the ski slopes of Government camp, is a perfect place to hold a retreat for a small group, or one consisting of over 100 people. Several of the historic cabins boast massive stone fireplaces, as well as provide the modern convenience of full kitchens. Within the 22 acres of this camp, you can find old growth trees, the raging Little Zig Zag River, an outside amphitheater, both high ropes and low ropes adventure course elements for team building, and plenty of porches to enjoy a rocking chair. The on-site chef is available to provide typical camp fare, or create a custom special event menu.

Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, Portland — During the winter time guests can enjoy Mt. Hood's beautiful snowy weather by snowshoeing on one of the many trails on the outskirts of camp, and then come back to camp to savor the quiet hush of a snowy wonderland in one of our warm lodges. 

Our roads our plowed daily, making Kiwanis Camp a convenient getaway during the snowy season.Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, Portland — Laurel Lodge has an adjacent dormitory and a main meeting lodge that is two stories high. The first floor is perfect for groups to meet, while the second floor is great for leisure time with a pool table and seating areas.Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, Portland — Lower Fanning Lodge is our more intimate lodge that fits up to 23 people and includes a small living area and a kitchen. This is the perfect spot for a family gathering or girl scout troop.Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, Portland — In our Cy lodge, there is bunk bed style lodging for up to 44 people. This lodge offers a kitchen for groups to cook their own meals, a large fireplace, a flat screen TV, and a porch to enjoy a rocking chair during the warm spring and fall days.Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, Portland — At camp we have two small cabins available to rent, one that holds four people and another that holds six people.Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, Portland — Fanning Dining Hall is a great hub during retreats. It's the perfect space to meet for a meal provided by our onsite chef or have training sessions for business retreats. Spacious, open, and right next to the Zig Zag River, Fanning Dining Hall is the place for your next retreat.Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, Portland — There is a pool onsite that can be used when the weather permits. Groups must have certified lifeguards in order to use the pool, we do not provide life guards. Please call or email us if you have questions about our pool.Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, Portland — The Little Zig Zag River runs through camp and can be heard from all of our platform tents that are available for rent, as well as two of the main lodges. There are many trails around camp that are fun to explore on a sunny or snowy day.Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, Portland — Located onsite at camp are high and low ropes courses available to be used through our partner facilitators, Team Synergo. The courses are perfect for team building, including a zip line, giant swing, and rock wall.Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, Portland — The rock wall is just one of the many adventure course options, including the flying squirrel, zip line, and giant swing. Our adventure is facilitated by Team Synergo, a company that we partner with who set their own prices for groups.Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, Portland — We have one yurt that is available for $75 on a weekend, and $50 for a week night.Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, Portland — Platform tents are available for $25-$50 a night and most have a fire pit nearby for use. Firewood not included.Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, Portland — All of our lodges have bunk-bed style lodging with either two or four bunk beds per room.Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp, Portland — Within yards of camp there are many hiking trails at different degrees of difficulty, including the Hidden Lake Trail that leads to the Pacific Crest Trail. Our most popular and easy hike is the Little Zig Zag trail which leads to a raging waterfall.

Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp offers both an outdoor auditorium and an indoor auditorium based on event needs. The indoor hall can accommodate up to 150 people in cafeteria style seating, or seat 100-125 people at 8-person round tables. There is an onsite chef who can customize meals, or guests can choose from a sample menu. An adventure course with high and low ropes courses are also available for an additional cost.
