Greek Cusina is a typical restaurant, and offers a super-charged, energetic atmosphere that everyone enjoys. In 1974, two brothers, Ted and John Papas, came to Portland and took over the Downtown Deli on Yamhill. Greek entertainment show gives you the feeling that you are visiting the Isles of Greece. You will be instructed on Traditional Greek Dances and the upbeat hypnotic melodies will rush through your veins and envelope even the meekest personalities. You will have a chance to release your frustration the "Greek way" partaking in the tradition of plate breaking. The rustic stone tiled floors are accented with colorful high-backed wooden chairs and tables, all of which make you feel like you're in a Greek village kitchen. In the summer our patio is a popular dinning areas. The Taverna is located on the second floor of the Greek Cusina. When going to this floor you will notice that the stairs are stone covered giving you the feeling that you are being led to a rustic village gathering place. The floor is set with long wooden tables washed in a light blue green color with wood chairs to accommodate large groups for joyous celebrations. This floor is the perfect place for any special celebration. Our full-time Events Manager will take care of all your needs from food selection, event timing, entertainment booking, and selection of linens and centerpieces.
