We designed our dream home with a long-range plan in mind to also open the site as an outdoor wedding venue and special event center. With that goal in mind, we constructed nearly 10,000 square feet of decking around our home. Our whole estate is surrounded by fir trees, some of which come up directly through the decking. Throughout the deck, there are a variety of water features, including sunken pools and creeks that wind throughout and around the decking. Magnificent vista views of the beautiful Willamette Valley set off the unique architecture of our home. With many levels of decking (all wheel chair accessible) couples have the opportunity for many seating and table arrangements. There is also 2,500 square feet of paved courtyard, five different BBQ's and lighting all around the decking, including the raised stage area that begs for a live band.
