Our former 1936 elementary school offers indoor event spaces to welcome up to 120 guests at your next meeting or event. We’ll work with you to craft a comfortable, unique and memorable meet-up within your budget—whether you need the onsite theater for a large presentation with visuals, or a quaint room with our original art on display to feast on catered fare during a discussion, birthday party, retirement party, baby shower… In addition, we have comfortable hotel guestrooms with ensuite bathrooms and TVs; a restaurant and several small bars; a brewery; and soaking pool for relaxing after your event.

Father Luke’s Room is the larger event space - 1,250 sq. ft. - it will accommodate up to 90 guests, set with large round dining tables; 100 guests as a stand up reception with small bistro tables; 56 as a classroom; and 100 as a theater. Food and beverage minimums apply, if minimums are not met the difference will be charged as a rental fee. Wait staff, bartenders, tables and chairs, china, flatware, glassware and linens are included in the price. A/V equipment is available to rent or you are welcome to bring your own. Father Luke’s Room History: Father Luke Sheehan hailed from County Cork, Ireland and came to Bend in 1910 as part of an Irish Catholic mission to the “wilds” of Oregon. He established and cultivated the St. Francis Parish by trekking hundreds of miles on horseback to meet with widely dispersed parishioners. Father Luke’s room is a work of art and a tribute to the school’s roots. With high ceilings and walls covered with paintings of such things as baseball-playing nuns, the Hippodrome that once stood across the street from the school and four vignettes helping to depict the life and work of Father Luke, the event space is comfortable and cheerful.

Rambler Ambassador Room is our smaller catered event space (800 sq. ft.). The room is equipped with a private bar and buffet for your event. Plated meal options available for smaller groups. The Rambler room can accommodate 40 guests for a sit down reception. Stand up reception set up can accommodate 50 guests. Food and beverage minimums must be met or the difference will be charged as a rental fee. Wait staff, bartenders, tables and chairs, china, flatware, glassware and linens are included in the price. A/V equipment is available to rent or you are welcome to bring your own. Rambler Ambassador Room History: The Rambler Room was named for the first car that the nuns ever owned; a 1968 Rambler Ambassador. This meeting room is filled with lots of amusing items. The paintings include flying nuns swooping in for a picnic, and a fanciful depiction of Father O’Riordan and one of the Sisters driving the car.
