 1/30/2007 | | "Quartz Mountain Lodge", sharb from Newcastle, Oklahoma | Spent our anniversary here in the Tonkawa Suite. Very nice suite with sitting room w/tv, gas fireplace, view of lake, bar w/frig. & microwave and 2 bathrooms. All rooms are detached from lobby, meeting rooms and restaurant building which some people may not like. Food at restaurant was good. At $225, it was a bargain. Staff all helpful and friendly. Wonderful area, offered an eagle watch that we enjoyed with naturalist. Great place to bring kids as play parks for kids, even with small carnival rides, are down the road.
Lake is very, very low. |
