About Maumee Bay Brewing Company

Established in 1995 the Maumee Bay Brewing Co. operates out of the Historic Oliver House creating delightfully drinkable ales, lagers, porters, stouts and the like. Though best known for brewing Toledo’s own Buckeye Beer, Maumee Bay Brewing Co. is always concocting new surprises in the brew house across the street from the main complex. After one hundred fifty years of wear to the building this most important landmark has been renovated to reflect its architectural as well as historical significance. My husband's surprise birthday party - An Eventective User from Maumee, OH

We had a surprise birthday party for my husband at the Oliver House in the Historic Lobby room and we couldn't of asked for a more perfect venue! The room was gorgeous with warm inviting lighting and an elegant yet cozy atmosphere. Maureen, one of the events coordinators there was just wonderful. She responded to all of my calls and messages immediately and was so helpul and accommodating and a joy to work with. The food was beautifully presented and delicious and all the guests raved about it. Janelle in the bakery made a delicious cake and came up with my somewhat unusual request perfectly. Everyone working that night was helpful, friendly and effecient. My husband had a memorable and wonderful evening as well as all of the rest of us. We would definitely choose Oliver House again for another event and recommend it with no reservations.
