Jeff Tucker & On the Beach have consistently performed over 150 shows a year since 1995. In 2001, following the release of their second independently released CD of original music, On the Beach began traveling regularly to venues from Northern Michigan to Nashville, performing concerts of original music penned by singer/songwriter, Jeff Tucker. Today, On the Beach is a road-tested concert act with a thirteen year history. The group has twice appeared on the Mitch Albom Radio Show, performing live for an ABC Radio network audience of 2.5 million listeners nationwide. On the Beach performs family-friendly “adult alternative” music that includes a variety of musical dynamics - mixing elements of rock, pop, and country with references to Americana, jazz, and Latin music. On the Beach can perform shows of all-original music, all-cover music, or a combination of both. Jeff Tucker and company have independently released three full length CD's and one single of music, including "On the Beach Live", recorded Summer 2007. The group has experience playing an enormous variety of venues - from community concert and special event shows, to casino and island resort stages, to major music festival and ticketed theater concert appearances. The band’s longevity reflects their audience’s appreciation for strong songwriting, harmony, musical craftsmanship, and the ability to appeal to different generations and varied musical tastes.
