Built in 1849, this iconic building has achieved National Registry status and is being carefully preserved to ensure its ability to serve future generations. It features a beautiful ballroom, two parlors, and a wraparound porch overlooking charming gardens. OCAC’s Brandt Ballroom is the perfect venue for your special event, accommodating up to 200 guests. The historic beauty of the building’s wrap-around porch, stunning portico, and beautiful gardens provide an ideal backdrop for pictures and outdoor ceremonies.

The third floor of the OCAC houses 30 studios rented by local artists, writers, and musicians. Originally dorm rooms, the studios average approximately 150 square feet with 1 or 2 closets for storage. Artists renting the studios may decorate or finish their studios at their own expense.

The OCAC Theater, originally used as the chapel, was converted into a recital theater in the 1940s. A programmable space for OCAC movies, classes, and programs, it primarily serves as the home for the Oxford Area Community Theatre (OxACT). The OCAC Theater is available for a stand-alone rental or as part of an upcoming event. It comes equipped with modern lighting, sound system, and projector. The theatre can comfortably seat 100 patrons.
