 7/29/2008 | | "Almost ruined my wedding", telescopium from Berea, Ohio | | They almost ruined my wedding. I booked and met with the owner. You are supposed to get two DJ's for the price of one. Well, we did, but it wasn't the man we met with (who it was supposed to be). Two people I had never met showed up. First they showed up an hour and a half late. They were supposed to be there at 5 (The ceremony started at 5:30, and was at the same location. So I wanted them in and set up so they weren't dragging stuff through the middle of everything). They showed up after 6, and were dragging their equipment through the room where we were having the cocktail hour. Then my caterer comes to me in a panic as I am getting formal photos done, the table that was set aside for them to use (6 feet as per their guidelines) wasn't good enough for them so they were taking apart the bridal table. Thank god my caterer got that under control. Then they played the wrong song when we were introduced, the wrong version of our first dance song. Then the woman drank like a fish. I had guests come up to me saying "did you know the dj is falling down by the bar?" So while she wobbled around the man that was her partner took off early. The woman gave a drunken toast to us, and I started crying. My wedding was wonderful with the exception of these people. I wrote them a letter complaining and asking for a refund for the time we paid for that they showed up late, called and left messages and they won't even reply to me. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these people!! They will ruin your wedding. |
