Located in downtown High Point, NC and constructed in 1918, the Adams mansion was the private residence of John Hampton Adams, his wife and their two daughters. Today, the renovated J.H. Adams Inn, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is once again a place of architectural majesty, modern conveniences and gracious hospitality. The management was quite a failure in giving information, knowing what their own paperwork specified and following requests. Although a timeline was given, the serving was 30-40 minutes late and when the general manager was questioned as to the discrepancy between their paperwork and what was actually provided, she was quite rude. It was definitely not worth the 30% gratuity we were charged. |
