The Elm Street Center also has more intimate spaces for meetings, live music and other special events. Dating back to 1930 our beautiful southern style clubhouse is located in Greensboro, NC just a few miles from both interstate 40 and highway 85. We have over 8,000 square feet of event space to host your Dream Wedding!
At east wing of our clubhouse overlooking our 9th and 10th Greens we have our Banquet Hall which can be opened as one large space or separated into four individual rooms that are all unique in their own way. These rooms together can accommodate a seated reception with room for a dance floor for up to 350 people and a cocktail reception for up to 400 people. In the Banquet Hall we have the following individual rooms. The central Ballroom space is equipped with hard wood flooring, high ceilings and a beautiful bay window. The Star Room next to the Ballroom has the option to add our outdoor lower patio with gas fire pit overlooking our stunning golf course at the tenth tee box. Our Dining room 2 is on the other side of the Ballroom and is an interior room with a more formal feel. Dining Room 1, across the hallway, is an exterior facing room and works well for groups of 20 guests or less. Our Banquet Hall rental includes round banquet tables, metal cushioned chairs, standard house white table linens and napkins and our collection of newly furnished white round china, stainless steel flatware and glassware.
At the west wing of our Clubhouse we have our Bistro 59 Dining Room with attached Parlor, Lounge and Outdoor Patio. This space can accommodate seating for up to 125 guests and standing space for up to 200 guests. These spaces include specialty dining tables and soft seating chairs with comfort seating areas in Parlor for more of a Bistro and Lounge atmosphere.
There are both indoor and outdoor options to host your Wedding Ceremony or Cocktail Hour.
We also have a nice feature if you plan to have your wedding ceremony in addition to your reception at our venue. Our ground floor level is equipped with separate full his and her locker rooms that both include seating areas. These spaces work well for your ceremony preparation rooms if you should need them. Use of these spaces is included at no additional charge.
We do not allow outside catering at our venue, but allow you to provide your own dessert in addition to the meal provided from our Chef as desired. There is a food and beverage minimum purchase of $20.00 per Person + service charge/tax to total a minimum of $1,000.00 for an evening event and $15.00 per Person + service charge/tax to total a minimum of $500.00 for a day time event.
Filled with beauty and ceremony the Meridian Convention and Event Center located in mid-downtown Greensboro, North Carolina, provides an ideal setting for the events ranging from the grandest to the smallest parties and boardroom meetings. The facility features many rooms of various sizes that can be configured to hold weddings, trade shows, corporate meetings, fundraisers, seminars, banquets or private parties.
With approximately 33,000 square feet of event space, this can be the ideal place to hold your next event! We offer state-of-the-art A/V and on-site catering preparation space. Included in our rental fees are decor services such as tables and chairs. We also have parking for more than 200 vehicles in the facility. It has a beautiful contemporary edge mixed with the class and style originally built into the property. Our largest venue has a capacity of 615 guest.

Wyndham Garden Greensboro, a 197-room hotel, has completely renovated guest rooms, offers a state-of-the-art business center, sundries shop, 24 hour fitness center, 8,000 square feet of hi-tech event space, and full service on site catering.
