Chris and his family are originally from Massachusetts and moved to the western North Carolina region in 2006. Prior to moving to the Asheville, NC region, Chris was the house disc jockey at Branning’s which was a bowling alley, pub, restaurant, club, and banquet facility for 10 years. Throughout that time he performed over 1000+ club, Karaoke, and rock and bowl events. He also provided disc jockey services in the banquet facility for weddings, anniversary parties, reunions, proms, birthday parties, and private events. In 1999 he opened his own professional disc jockey service providing professional services and vast experience. In 2002 The Music Man upgraded his sound system and added a light show to his performances. Throughout this period he built a music library that contains 13,000+ songs that he brings to every event. The music he provides for shows is focused on popular formats and is categorized on a laptop computer to help guests find the songs that they are looking for. From 1999 to 2006, The Music Man provided entertainment at over 150 events throughout western New England. The Music Man has provided musical entertainment to over 1500 events in the last 13 years. The Music Man is not a disc jockey service. From day one you will be working with Chris and he will be your event disc jockey.
