If you are looking for a venue that is a deviation from the typical glitz and extravagance that you'll find at Long Island Wedding Venues, check out The Woodlands. Located on the Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course off of Jericho Turnpike in Nassau County, The Woodlands offers a classic setting that you and your guests will not soon forget. The historic manor house hosts one wedding at a time, a major plus for most brides, and the staff is a cut above. Accommodating throughout the entire planning process and absolutely wonder on the day of, I can not imagine having had my wedding anywhere else. Our tasting was intimate and romantic. We had the opportunity to meet our bridal attendant, Iris, who was a dream come true. She was there whenever we needed her but didn't hover over us all night. She made sure we had food and drinks all night and was just wonderful. The most difficult time we had with The Woodlands was choosing our menu as their offerings were all so tasty. Our ceremony and photos were all taken at The Woodlands and even our photographer was in awe of all the breathtaking opportunities that the venue had to offer. The venue offers an old world charm with modern twists added in, like custom drinks and valet parking. Guests arrived and were offered a glass of champagne prior to the ceremony. After the outdoor ceremony guests were escorted inside for cocktails and appetizers on the patio overlooking the gardens. There were plenty of bars and servers for our 175 guests and the food seemed to never end. Dinner was amazing! The parents of the bride and groom were offered two entrees to sample while the bride and groom got three! My husband wanted a specific "last meal" and they accommodated him without issue. We could not have been more pleased with our experience at The Woodlands. I can't wait for someone else to have a wedding there so I can be a guest!
