Discover the amazing scientific properties of water with hands-on, interactive learning stations demonstrating buoyancy, currents and the use of water for energy. Race boats down a 16-foot zigzag stream, paint a masterpiece with water and operate water wheels using a series of kid-powered pumps. City Splash provides a new dimension to your CMOM experience!

Discover a fascinating world that inspires curiosity and helps make the unknown more familiar, maybe even logical, and certainly fun. Enter Alice's Wonderland through the Riverbank and follow the White Rabbit into the Underground where children and adults alike must determine what is real and what is not. In the Hall of Doors, experience optical illusions while solving scientific puzzles. Join the Mad Hatter Tea Party to experience the properties of different liquids, then head off to the Croquet Ground where you can experiment with balls, force, momentum and geometry. Follow Alice to a world that grows "curioser and curioser"!Exhibition Area, Children’s Museum of Manhattan, New York — Dora the Explorer
Open through December 2006 
Ages 2–6 
Explore with Dora! The adventurous Latina heroine guides children and adults through her tropical world. Climb through the Pyramid and learn to count from 1 to 10 in English and Spanish. Slide from Boots’s Treehouse, play “hide and seek” in the Rainforest, help Diego care for rainforest animals, build a bridge over Crocodile Lake and join the fiesta at Dora’s House. At the end of your adventure, sing the “We Did It!” song with Dora and Boots. All this as adults learn how their children learn!
CMOM's unique and lively set of exhibition areas are available individually or combined for your next event. After-hour parties also include exclusive access to an exhibit space.
