Amazing Wedding Spot - An Eventective User from Syracuse, NY

I recently had my wedding at Hope Lake in Virgil, New York. I thought the scenery was breathtaking and provided a gorgeous background for all of our wedding pictures. The town is in Central New York and provides a very small town, outdoorsy feel. My guests and I all stayed at the newly opened Hope Lake Lodge which was absolutely amazing. The hotel was a bit pricey but offered a lot of activities which made it worth the money. The hotel had its own restaurant that we used for our rehearsal dinner as well as a spa that my bridesmaids and I took full advantage of pre-wedding and a water park and arcade which provided a lot of entertainment for our younger guests. I found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful because we had never been to the resort before. In addition, we were able to get great pictures beside Hope Lake and also got to take pictures with the ski resort, Greek Peak, in the background. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the entire wedding package I purchased. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a gorgeous place for their upcoming wedding. Also, the area provides many things to do if you choose to come up and stay a few days before your wedding. There are many hiking and biking trails and I encourage you to take advantage of the new adventure center at Greek Peak and Hope Lake which offers swimming and paddle boating and has extremely friendly lifeguards.
