 10/16/2007 | | "Changed Our Minds / Perfect Place ", An Eventective User from Waldorf, Maryland | My father got married at Marygold Manor in Dec 2006 and my sister was having a baby and big sister really wanted a nice event.
After checking out several hotels and them not having enough space- our other sister suggested Marygold Manor, since our dad had his wedding there. THIS TURNED OUT TO BE THE BEST IDEA!
I planned all of this from Washington DC by mail and phone!
It turned out to be ONE OF THE BEST events we had...FOR A BABYSHOWER. They even accomadated the few little ones that also showed up by providing a small flat screen in the back of the room and BOY! Where they happy!
Well the day of the event, I did a last minute walk through with Jim (Owner- he and his son are so sweet and easy to work with) and my fiance and I were talking about the price of weddings in our area, so we were just going to do a Justice of the peace....well Jim changed our mind on the SPOT with the price and selection he could provide us.
I am originally from the Buffalo, NY area and most of my family still live there so once the idea was presented to us and Jim gave us some great things to think about.
We BOOKED our wedding for Aug 2008- I am so happy with this place...I definely would suggest to any and everybody wanting a beautiful place and is on a budget.
Jim, Jeremy and Staff- Thank YOU SO MUCH.
