| Built in 1905, the Boathouse was one of the first buildings in New York City to be declared a landmark. This Beaux Arts style building overlooks the beautiful Lullwater and Lullwater Bridge and features two levels and a balcony. After receiving extensive renovations, the Boathouse reopened in 2002 as the home of the nation's first urban Audubon Center. This historic structure is available for rental for everything from formal weddings to cocktail receptions to corporate events when not in use for public or school programs. During select hours, you can take advantage of special optional activities such as guided tours and electric boat rides on the Independence. Birthday packages for children, ages 4-12, are also available. |

| Our historic Carousel is an ideal venue for child's birthday parties, providing a scenic, kid-friendly setting. Designed by one of the world's foremost carousel artists almost 100 years ago, it was originally located at Coney Island before being transported to Prospect Park in 1952.
The Carousel is available for private rental during non-public hours. Housed in a pavilion, the Prospect Park Carousel is one of few in the United States that is wheelchair accessible. Holding a corporate event at the Carousel will add a touch of magic to your gathering, and help all your employees feel like kids again. |

| The Picnic House offers an elegant backdrop for memorable occasions in all seasons. The French doors gracing the rear balcony create a charming focal point for the exchange of wedding vows.
Capacity
The facility can accommodate up to 175 guests for dinner and dancing. It has a maximum capacity of 250 people for concerts and cocktail receptions.
