For the past several years, Julien has traveled to various countries photographing the world’s cultures and wildlife. Her evocative photography captures a sense of place, an array of relationships across many cultures: moments of tenderness, joy, and sorrow but always with an eye to its magnificence. Julien’s commercial and editorial work has been featured in several magazines, web and book publications and is recognized for her work with the Native American community and imagery of the vanishing west. Julien also holds a degree in Interior Design, which has enabled her to excel in architectural photography for several prominent writers/producers, celebrities, socialites and designers in Los Angeles and New Mexico. Born in San Francisco, she now lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her husband and five dogs. Julien is available for assignment work and will consider interesting special events. Additionally a portion of her proceeds goes to support children’s education in Africa and animal welfare in New Mexico.
