 9/6/2011 | | "Bella Ballroom and Bella Gardens", An Eventective User from Las Cruces, NM | | I would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding or other event. While the staff was a little hard to work with at times they definitely pulled it all together in the end. There were of course minor things that would need to be changed but for the most part they provided us with a successful event. The wedding I helped planned that took place there, turned out to be incredibly beautiful even though we were a bit concerned at first. There is only one person who plans and coordinates set up of wedding. He can sometimes be hard to get a hold of, which can be frustrating. But like I said he was working until the last moment to make sure everything was perfect. The food that was provided by their caterers was enjoyable, although the portions could have been bigger considering how much each plate cost. Any personal touches we wanted to add or bring in, the staff was very accommodating. They even set it all up for us, all we had to do was tell them where we wanted things and just drop them off. I would definitely make sure you get everything in writing because they did try to change details that they had promised in the beginning. For instance, the house that was used for the wedding we were promised to have access too so guests could go to the bathroom or the wedding party could cool off. In the end we did not have access to the house. They were also supposed to provide a tent for the bride so that she wouldn't be seen before the ceremony. That too did not happen. All in all for the money it was good value just make sure details are concrete and don't depend on the little things they promise. |
